Job Description:
This position is for local residents only. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join our Houston-based operations team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate andpliant customs entries for international shipments, particularly within regulated and chemical-focused supply chains. Key Responsibilities
  • Filing ISF in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review customs entry documentation inpliance with CBP, FDA, and other PGAs
  • Filing Customs Entries (Customs Clearance) for import shipments.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve documentation or clearance issues
  • Assist with HTS (tariff) classification, duties, and cost analysis
  • Maintainanized records for audits andpliance reviews
  • Stay current on U.
S. customs regulations and FDA requirements
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in ISF and customs entry filing within a freight forwarding or logistics environment
  • Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations and supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong written and verbalmunication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FDA, EPA, USDA, or other Partner Government Agencies
  • Chemical or hazardous materials shipment experience
  • CargoWise experience
  • Knowledge of 3PL, NVOCC, and transportation planning
