Job Description

Schedule :
Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm Company Overview Moorfeed Corporation is a leading manufacturer of vibratory feeder systems, specializing in innovative solutions for material handling and automation across various industries. Our commitment to quality and cutting-edge technology drives our mission to deliver reliable and efficient vibratory feeder solutions. Job Summary We are seeking an entry level Design Engineer. responsible for designing new models, mechanism's, and adaptations for a broad line of products. the successful candidate will be follows direction and suggestions of Senior Engineers and other departments. Investigate alterations to designs for improved performance and prepare preliminary layout drawings for customer approval. Key Responsibilities Design and Devvelopment Medical design of parts feeding and automation equipment utilizing decades of referenced projects and newly developed technologies. Creation of 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings Detail parts and release to manufacturing Create BOM's and layout drawings of systems Work with other departments to create technical files and operating instructions •
System Integration:
Integrate parts feeding systems with up and downstream equipment
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during projection, testing and field operations Work with other departments on project resolution and design changes
Customer Service:
Communicate and work with customers to determine designs and equipment handshake
Collaboration:
Work closely with controls engineers, production teams and customers to ensure system performance meets project requirements.
Compliance:
E nsure all designs and systems comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving equipment efficiency, relaiblity and cost-effectiveness Qualifications •
Experience:
Proficient with AutoCAD Inventor or similar 3D modeling software o Knowledge of General GD&T practices •
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Willingness to research new technologies and integration of new products Working Conditions Full-time position with occasional travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting. Work primarily in an office and production environment, with occasional exposure to manufacturing floor conditions.
