Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to end-users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software systems. Responsibilities Deliver first-level support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and voice/data communication issues. Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating issues as necessary. Create and maintain detailed tickets for all support interactions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. Collaborate with team members to enhance support processes and improve service delivery. Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Skills Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support practices. Familiarity with ticketing systems and technical documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Skills Experience in customer service, call center, or help desk environments. Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with network configurations and basic networking concepts. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
