Position Summary As a Detailer at Dorsch, you will be part of our Reconditioning Department, where we take great pride in preparing vehicles for sale at the dealership. Our team is committed to restoring vehicles to like-new condition and ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards for cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation. This position is responsible for thoroughly cleaning, detailing, and maintaining vehicles both inside and out to ensure they are front-line ready for our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, take pride in their work, and be passionate about delivering high-quality results. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Wash, wax, and buff vehicle exteriors to enhance their appearance. Vacuum, shampoo, and deep-clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, and dashboards. Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. Apply protective treatments such as sealants, ceramic coatings, and tire shine. Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure top-quality results. Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, hoses, air hoses, and buffers. Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents effectively. Safely move, park, and handle dealership and customer vehicles. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow company policies and uphold service quality standards. Work efficiently to prepare vehicles for front-line display and customer delivery. Take pride in producing high-quality results and maintaining dealership appearance standards. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, hoses, air hoses, and polishers. Knowledge of cleaning, protective, and restorative agents used to maintain vehicle appearance. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with the ability to safely move and park vehicles. Physical Requirements Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not limited to, the following: Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Standing and walking for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day). Working in varying temperatures and conditions within the shop and detailing areas.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
