What We're Doing Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team consists of many small agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is also, responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies. The Work We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated DevOPS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our on-prem hyperconverged cloud infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in cloud computing, Dev Ops practices, and a passion for automating administrative tasks using a wide range of technologies including Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.

• This position requires a government security clearance at the Top Secret level; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications:

• An Active Final Top Secret clearance is required for consideration
• Candidate must have a

DOD 8570/8140

certification or must be able to obtain it within 90 days of starting.

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration
• Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
• Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment

Desired Skills:

• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
• Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Scrum Master experience is a plus

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
