Diagnostic Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team!

The ideal candidate possess:

knowledge of advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair of diesel-powered equipment, has strong electrical/emissions diagnostic experience, and can efficiently identify and resolve complex mechanical issues while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• At least 2 years of hands-on diesel technician experience - experience with diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, CAT, PACCAR, etc.)
• Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel engines, emissions systems, and electronic controls
• Troubleshooting systems: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
• Accurately document and perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, air conditioning, steering, tires, and suspension
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
• Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR)
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software and scan tools
• Valid driver's license - CDL preferred
• Your own hand tools to complete daily job functions (company provides larger equipment)
