$23.50/hr Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Technician with experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanics. This role is responsible for the teardown and disassembly of 60L and 78L high-horsepower diesel engines in a manufacturing environment. The technician will work with cranes, hand tools, and power tools to safely remove, inspect, clean, and prepare engine components for the next stage of production. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, production-focused, and committed to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Engine Teardown & Mechanical Work Disassemble high-horsepower diesel engines and components Remove and inspect engine parts including heads, pistons, crankshafts, and related assemblies Clean engine components and prepare them for rebuild or production processes Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and effectively Operate cranes/hoists to move heavy engine components Quality & Production Follow standard operating procedures, visual standards, and quality processes Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming parts Meet daily production and cycle-time expectations Maintain clean and organized work areas Support equipment maintenance and identify repair needs Safety Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures Wear appropriate PPE at all times Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately Promote a safe and team-oriented work environment Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with production teams and support staff Participate in training and continuous improvement activities Communicate effectively regarding production, safety, and quality concerns Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanical experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable lifting heavy components and standing for extended periods Top Skills Automotive/Diesel Repair Mechanical Aptitude Attention to Detail Safety Awareness Hand Tool Experience Production/Manufacturing Experience TA01Pay:
