Job Summary Arnold's Team of Service Companies is seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic / Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team in Saukville, WI. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines, specialized vehicles, and fleet equipment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, diagnostics, and welding/fabrication. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, follows safety procedures, communicates well with the team, and is willing to support other areas of the company as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel fleet vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and DOT inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on specialized vehicles and equipment. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve engine, system, mechanical, and electronic issues. Perform welding and fabrication work on equipment components and structures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and labor hours. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to help maintain a safe work environment. Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules. Assist with sourcing and ordering parts and materials as needed. Provide guidance or training to junior mechanics or apprentices when applicable. Support other roles within the company as needed and adapt to changing priorities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a diesel technology program or equivalent vocational training preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair preferred. Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding required. ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus. Ability to use advanced diagnostic tools and software. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, and controls. Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl as needed. Ability to perform repetitive movements. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. Comfortable working in varying conditions, including wet, hot, cold, and humid environments.
