Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of our fleet and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery and contribute to the efficiency of our operations through expert mechanical skills and a proactive maintenance approach. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Conduct repairs and maintenance forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation. Replace or repair components including brakes, air brakes systems, suspensions, fuel systems, powertrain parts, and hydraulic systems. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using hand tools, welding techniques, soldering, and fabrication equipment to meet specific operational needs. lifts, or other industrial equipment safely during repair or maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate service records detailing repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed in compliance with safety standards. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues related to vehicle systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Skills Proven dealership experience with heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), and air brake systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex machinery diagnostics. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other fabrication tools. Experience working with OEM parts for Freightliners, Kenworth, Peterbilts, or similar brands; familiarity is a plus. Competence in automotive repair including tire service, brake repair, and vehicle maintenance routines. Heavy lifting capability with proper safety procedures if needed. experience operating forklift equipment such as Teledynes, Moffetts, etc. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients. Knowledge of electrical systems within vehicles; ability to troubleshoot wiring issues effectively. Pay:
