As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our vehicles and equipment. Your responsibilities will include conducting repairs, preventive maintenance, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to diagnose and resolve issues promptly. Collaboration with the Shop Manager and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role. Conduct timely repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment, following specifications and utilizing OEM software, tools, and technologies. Install, replace, re-build, or repair parts and equipment to meet industry standards and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with the Shop Manager to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring efficient workflow. Authorize or assist in scheduling dealer, shop, and field repairs while applying warranties appropriately. Demonstrate proficiency in using various tools required for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Utilize computer skills for diagnostic purposes and complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with corporate and OSHA standards. Interpret failure modes through vehicle computer electronics systems to initiate or assign necessary repairs. Engage in physical activities such as walking, lifting, twisting, turning, and climbing a ladder. Possess a valid driver's license; CDL-A or B is a plus. Have 1+ years of experience in truck and/or trailer mechanics. Possess 1+ years of experience in Aluminum & Steel welding.
