Diesel Mechanic

Lewis Truck Lines is an over the road trucking company based in Conway, SC. We are currently looking for a full-time Certified Diesel Mechanic with 3 years + work experience. We have an immediate opening for a Certified Diesel Mechanic with 3+ years' work experience who is knowledgeable with a J-Pro Computer system. Having a valid class A CDL would be a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine diesel maintenance on 18-wheelers and any diesel-powered equipment, working as a team or independently. Perform operations and diagnostics through our J-PRO Computer system. Perform general mechanic repairs and DOT inspections, including annual inspections on all equipment. Use shop equipment efficiently and safely, abiding by all safety protocols and procedures. Maintain a neat, organized work space. Have a good attitude and work ethic. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Job Requirements:

Would prefer 3+ of Diesel mechanical shop experience Prefer 1-2 years of J-Pro Computer operations Valid CDL, not required but preferred Must be capable of lifting heavy objects Must have a valid driver licenses Must have flexibility for different tasks Must be professional, dependable and trust worthy

Wages:

Hourly rate to be discussed during interview and will be based on experience.
