Diesel Mechanic

Position Summary:

The Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, mixers, and heavy construction machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards Maintain accurate service records and documentation Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (heavy-duty preferred) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Strong work ethic and attention to detail
