Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Diesel Mechanic/Shop Foreman to lead our maintenance team and ensure the optimal performance of our heavy equipment, trucks and trailers. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate repairs, and provide expert diagnostics to keep our fleet running smoothly. Your mechanical expertise and leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and quality in all maintenance activities. Duties Lead and supervise the shop team to perform repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, trailers and vehicles Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs; coordinate procurement as needed Conduct fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, and assembly of equipment components to meet operational standards Perform detailed diagnostics on automotive systems including transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical components Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Provide technical guidance to team members on mechanical repairs and operational best practices Requirements Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, automotive diagnostics, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, HVAC systems, and tire service Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair including shocks & struts and brake systems; experience with assembly and equipment repair essential Excellent leadership skills to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality Strong communication skills coupled with customer service experience to interact professionally with clients and team members Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about maintaining top-tier machinery while leading a motivated team!
