Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge, experience with various types of heavy equipment, and proficiency in diagnostics and repair of diesel engines. Welding experience a plus! Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components on a variety of equipment including tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, and misc company assets. Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly to support repairs or modifications. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty parts. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety standards are met. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each piece of equipment. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician Strong background in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical repairs involving transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, etc Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, tractors, trailers, etc Welding experience Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in automotive repair is essential. Candidates should possess strong mechanical skills combined with the ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.

From $30.00 per hour
