Job Title:

Diesel Mechanic Job Description Join our team as a Diesel Technician in a dynamic job shop environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment including dump trucks, trash compactors, balers, and snow plows. Each day, you will engage in a range of activities from preventive maintenance to minor engineering and fabrication tasks. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on motorized equipment. Work on hydraulic components including rebuilding cylinders and pumps. Conduct minor engineering work, excluding total rebuilds. Perform transmission work. Troubleshoot electrical issues related to trucks. Engage in minor fabrication work. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience as a diesel technician. Proficiency in diesel troubleshooting and repair. Experience with pumps and motors/electrical systems. Ability to rebuild pumps and follow technical prints. Own personal tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding and fabrication experience. Work Environment Work in a diesel shop setting during 1st shift hours from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. While there is some flexibility, you may work up to 10 hours per day when necessary. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
