Diesel Mechanic - Van Diesel Truck Repair 7849 Harrison Ave, Cleves, OH 45002 513-999-3333 Overview Van Diesel Truck Repair is looking for a motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. We specialize in servicing diesel trucks, box trucks, semis, trailers, and commercial fleet equipment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, diagnostics, and keeping customers on the road safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, suspension, steering, HVAC, hydraulics, and air brake systems Perform PM services, inspections, diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and OEM schematics Repair and replace components including brakes, wheel seals, tires, suspension parts, turbochargers, cooling systems, and drivetrain components Perform welding and fabrication work when necessary Complete DOT inspections and safety-related repairs Operate shop equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment Communicate repair findings clearly with management and customers Assist with roadside service calls when needed Qualifications Experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, heavy-duty equipment, or commercial vehicles Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, suspension, electrical systems, and PM procedures Ability to use diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Valid driver's license preferred CDL is a plus but not required Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay Overtime opportunities Growth opportunities Supportive team atmosphere Hands-on work environment Additional pay opportunities for emergency roadside assistance calls and after-hours service work Experience working in both shop and roadside environments If you are motivated, dependable, and ready to grow with a rapidly expanding diesel repair shop, we'd love to hear from you.
