Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Certified Diesel Mechanic with verified heavy-duty experience to join our team. This position is strictly for experienced professionals with formal training and hands-on expertise in diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment. Applicants must have documented diesel mechanic experience and relevant certifications. This is not an entry-level role and is not suitable for forklift operators, general laborers, or candidates without professional diesel repair background. The ideal candidate has dealership or fleet experience working on heavy-duty diesel engines, advanced diagnostic systems, hydraulics, air brakes, and heavy equipment. You must be capable of independently diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues using electronic diagnostic tools and service schematics. Required Qualifications (Applicants Must Meet ALL Requirements) Minimum 2+ years of verifiable experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks and/or heavy equipment. Formal diesel technician training from an accredited trade school, technical college, or apprenticeship program. Current ASE Diesel Certification (or equivalent manufacturer certification) strongly preferred. Proven dealership or fleet maintenance experience. Advanced diagnostic experience using OEM or aftermarket electronic diagnostic software and scan tools.
Extensive hands-on experience with:
Heavy-duty diesel engines (Cummins, CAT, Detroit, Powerstroke, Duramax, etc.) Transmissions (manual & automatic) Hydraulic systems Air brake systems Electrical troubleshooting Aftertreatment/emissions systems (DPF, DEF systems) Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures without supervision. Must provide own professional-grade tools. Valid driver's license (CDL preferred). Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if applicable).
