Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of diesel engines, industrial machinery, and heavy equipment. Your hands-on skills will keep operations running smoothly, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics passionate about working with diverse machinery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems on various heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, alignments, and electrical diagnostics using OEM schematics and service manuals Fabricate parts and components as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements Conduct heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, tractors-trailers, and industrial machinery to assist in troubleshooting or testing repairs Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently restore equipment to optimal working condition Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference Support customer service efforts by providing clear communication about repair processes and timelines Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership or industrial equipment background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge across diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components Skilled in the use of schematics for troubleshooting complex systems effectively Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Proficiency in welding, soldering, assembly work, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance Familiarity with OEM parts standards and service procedures for Caterpillar or similar brands Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation Join us to work on diverse machinery that keeps industries moving forward!
