Diesel Mechanic Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. Responsibilities Identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, electrical components, etc. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as heavy duty and light duty trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and tractor-trailers with precision and attention to detail. Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed. Willing to have on call weekends as needed to provide 24/7 emergency service. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician within a industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; capable of using hand tools and power tools effectively. Experience repairing heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery or similar industrial vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude; able to communicate technical issues clearly.
