Job Description
Job Summary FlexForce Pros are seeking Diesel Mechanics, who would be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing marine and large vessel engines and generators to meet customer and safety standards. These locations are throughout the main cities of
Louisiana:
Lake Charles, Lafayette, Houma, Baton Rouge, New Orleans Surrounding Cities, Monroe, Alexandria along with Westbank locations in Louisiana. Job Duties Diagnose, inspect, repair, and service marine engines and generators Disassemble, assemble, and install engine components Perform testing, adjustments, and verification per manufacturer guidelines Complete inspection reports and order required parts Provide high-quality troubleshooting and customer supportMinimum Requirements:
Education High School Education or GED required Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance (with health enrollment) Short- and long-term disability 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and vacation Tool loan program and safety gear allowances Career development and technical training Knowledge & Skills Technical training in marine engines Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record Must own required tools (tool program available) Strong mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and safety focus Preferred Experience with OEM diesel engines TWIC card and water survival training MSHA certification Work Schedule & Travel 50+ hours per week with overtime On-call availability for customer emergencies Frequent travel, including overnight and possible international travel Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly without assistance Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Primarily outdoor, marine environment Compliance with OSHA, HAZMAT, and MSHA safety regulations Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the United States.
