Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mechanic-Manager to oversee our maintenance and repairs. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of skilled mechanics, ensuring all trucks, equipment and machinery are maintained at peak performance. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards across our four facilities and in the field. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage our trucks, rigs and equipment, implement innovative solutions, and foster a proactive maintenance culture that keeps our operations running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of mechanics to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on a variety of trucks, hot oilers, high pressure pump trucks, anchor setting trucks, wireline units, vacuum trucks, crude oil trucks and tankers licensed to haul non-hazardous liquid waste and crude oil and well servicing equipment including rigs. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, DOT Regulations and company policies. Coordinate with operations teams to prioritize repairs, schedule maintenance tasks efficiently, and minimize operational disruptions. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and equipment status. Foster a safety-first environment by conducting regular safety training sessions and ensuring all team members follow proper procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy trucks and equipment maintenance or repairs, with demonstrated leadership capabilities as a Lead Mechanic or similar position. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Strong communication and management skills to coordinate with various locations and convey information clearly. Relevant certifications for Mechanics are preferred; familiarity with heavy trucks and equipment.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
