Responsibilities of a Diesel Service Apprentice entail: Shadow and assist experienced diesel technicians, learning fundamental repair and maintenance techniques. Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, fluid checks, and component replacements under supervision. Perform pre-delivery inspections on vehicles or equipment to ensure readiness. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper tool care and safety procedures. Participate in training programs and workshops to develop knowledge of diesel systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Assist with recordkeeping and documentation of work performed. Requirements:

The requirements to be a Diesel Service Apprentice for CIT Trucks, LLC include: Must be at least 18 years old High School diploma or GED required Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 120 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality Maintain professional appearance and attitude Willingness and ability to complete training in a timely manner #IND2
