Responsibilities of a Diesel Technician entail: Perform thorough diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other medium-duty and heavy-duty vehicle components. Conduct preventative maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations and company standards, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and longevity. Complete accurate and detailed documentation of work performed, including service records, parts used, and labor hours. Adhere to strict safety protocols in the work environment, maintaining a clean workspace and properly utilizing tools and equipment. Complete online training courses and attend instructor-led classes to advance your career. Collaborate with the service team to provide exceptional customer service and prioritize the timely completion of repairs. Requirements:

Requirements to become a Diesel Technician at CIT Trucks, LLC include: Preventive maintenance experience required Must be at least 18 years old High School diploma or GED required Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 120 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail #IND2
