Diesel Tech - Quality Inspector

Summary The Quality Specialist provides on‑site technical and quality support at a major OEM customer location. The role is hands‑on, focused on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair support, while coordinating daily activities with customer teams and FPT. This is an independent, non‑managerial position. Requirements Strong technical skills (diesel engines/aftertreatment) Ability to work independently at a remote site Clear, professional communication Experience with quality tools (RCA/8D preferred) Accurate timekeeping; overtime must be approved Follow site schedules and escalation rules Description Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, inspections, and repair support Coordinate daily technical and quality activities with the customer Serve as the on‑site FPT point of contact Communicate technical findings and updates Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain service records and reports Make day‑to‑day technical decisions and escalate major issues
