Job Description

Truck Country is growing and looking for skilled Diesel Technicians to support our fleet customers directly at their locations. This is a unique opportunity to step outside the traditional dealership environment and work independently while still being backed by one of the largest Freightliner dealer networks in the United States. If you're experienced, self-driven, and take pride in solving complex mechanical issues, then this role is built for you. What You'll Do Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks Troubleshoot engine, chassis, mechanical, electrical, and aftertreatment systems Accurately document work performed Communicate with internal and external teams Deliver high-quality service that keeps customers' trucks on the road What We're Looking For Experience with Freightliner trucks and Detroit engines and/or Cummins engines preferred Previous diesel technician experience (heavy-duty trucks strongly preferred) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus, not required) Freightliner certifications are a plus — or willingness to obtain (we'll help train!) Pay:
From $40.00 per hour

How many years' experience do you have performing diagnostics and major engine repairs? This role requires working independently outside of the dealership. Are you comfortable working with limited supervision? Are you comfortable communicating directly with customers regarding repairs and updates? Do you currently hold any OEM certifications?
