MUST have a positive attitude, be a team player and have the desire to work in a clean friendly environment to be considered. Good communication and people skills are essential to our success. You will need to provide detailed work experience or history in the transportation and/or logistics industry. Applicant must have a valid driver's license, be able to lift 50 or 60 pounds, and have their own tools. DOT Certification ideal but not required. Compensation will be based on experience and ability. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various vehicles and heavy equipment, including transmissions and hydraulics. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Summary As a Diesel Technician/Mechanic, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to address a variety of mechanical issues. Your premium expertise in heavy equipment operation and fabrication will enhance our service capabilities.
