Diesel Technician/Mechanic up to Medium Duty (3 years exp!)

Big Dogg Custom Diesel Works is looking for a experienced Technician to join out team in Dripping Spring Texas.

This is a full time skilled position with the primary responsibility is maintain ,diagnose and repair Diesel Trucks and Auto. The main focus is the customer. Customer experience here is so important to our growth and reputation. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being in a team and growing as a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose electrical problems and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to various types of vehicles. Perform diagnostic tests and procedures using a variety of equipment, device and electrical tools Perform preventive maintenance tasks on vehicles such as replacing fluids, lubricants, full maintenance and brakes, tires ,alignments ,suspension work ,power train work, drive train work. Operate servicing equipment such as jacks, hoists ,battery chargers, tire machine ,balancer alignment rack Perform routine mechanical repairs and adjustments, remove, replace or exchange parts, as required. Inspect engines, transmissions and electrical systems in order to identify problems or malfunctions and report to who is in charge. You must keep records of your work and report to who is in charge. You must keep shop and your work area clean and neat. Pick up parts from venders when needed. May assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic qualifications for this position:

At least 2 years experience with diesel pick ups Experience with Diesel and Gas vehicles Must have own tools Willingness to work day shift hours and Saturdays if needed Valid drivers license Must have willingness to learn Must be motivated on time a self starter who we are: Big Dogg Custom Diesel Works is a growing local diesel shop that is looking for someone to join their team.
