Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly, professional customer service Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning procedures Support food handling, bussing, and dishwashing tasks to ensure a hygienic environment Follow proper food safety protocols during meal service and food storage to prevent contamination Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Contribute to a positive dining experience by ensuring timely meal delivery and attentive service Skills Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Excellent time management skills to efficiently prepare and serve meals within scheduled times Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with kitchen experience preferred Good communication skills for interacting professionally with residents, staff, and visitors Basic culinary experience including meal preparation and cooking techniques Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food service regulations Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food handling practices Join us in creating nourishing experiences that foster health and happiness!
