In this energetic role, you will support meal service, sanitation, and customer service to ensure residents and patients receive nourishing, safe, and satisfying meals. Your positive attitude and commitment to cleanliness will help create a welcoming environment that promotes health and well-being for all. Responsibilities Serve drinks and meals to residents or patients with friendly customer service, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, utensils, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning routines Support food handling procedures by following proper safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage Buss tables and assist with clearing dining areas promptly after meals to uphold sanitation standards Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, contributing to efficient meal service delivery Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment for residents or patients Skills Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, serving, and sanitation practices Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy meal times Customer service orientation with a friendly approach toward residents or patients Familiarity with dietary department operations and food safety standards Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform cleaning duties effectively Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing nourishing meals in a caring environment!
