Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety regulations. Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning to ensure timely meal service. Serve meals to residents or customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly. Collaborate with team members to coordinate food service operations efficiently during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Strong background in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering service, with demonstrated culinary skills. Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards is essential. Proficiency in food handling techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods required for diverse meal types. Experience with food service operations including serving customers or residents in a hospitality or healthcare setting. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are necessary for success in this role.
