Job Summary An established healthcare organization is currently seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee dining operations and nutritional services within a vibrant long term living community. Your role is vital in ensuring residents receive personalized, high-quality dietary meals, and exceptional service that promotes their health and well-being. You will coordinate meal planning, supervise dietary staff, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident's needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. We are looking for a motivated leader who understands the importance of hospitality, nutrition, regulatory compliance, and team development in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, hands-on, and committed to creating a positive dining experience for residents and guests alike. Key Responsibilities Direct daily operations of the dietary department Supervise, schedule, and support dietary staff members Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders and dietary guidelines Maintain compliance with sanitation, food safety, and regulatory standards Monitor inventory, food ordering, and budget management Collaborate with clinical teams regarding resident nutritional needs Assist with audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives Promote a clean, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen environment Qualifications Previous dietary management experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare preferred Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with food service operations, staffing, and inventory management Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment CDM certification preferred but not required depending on experience Why Join Our Team?
