DIETARY MANAGER
(70720) Bridgeport Medical Lodge - BRIDGEPORT, TX 76426 Apply Overview Job Shift Day Apply Description About us We are seeking a motivated Dietary Manager with excellent leadership and communication skills. You will help and care for patients, supervise dietary staff, offer guidance and support, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and ensure that all dietary operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, serve meals and snacks to all residents of the facility Lead the dietary team to ensure compliance with regulatory and cleanliness requirements Coordinate with the IDT to ensure nutritional needs of all residents are met and dietary orders are followed Interact in friendly and welcoming manner with all residents and guests Instruct and train dietary team on proper methodologies, practices, and requirements of the kitchen Recruit, retain, and maintain staff according to the needs of the facility - including preparing labor schedules Purchase food, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of the facility while adhering to appropriate budgets Attend leadership meetings, care plan meetings, and other meetings as required Make rounds in the facility to meet residents and cater to their preferences Carry out applicable policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the
Administrator/designee Qualifications Qualifications:
Must have CDM certification Must be knowledgeable of current regulatory standards. Must have the ability to train, supervise and direct dietary personnel in their proper duties and in accepted dietary procedures and techniques. Share job details to
