Job Description
Foods you love. Brands you trust. And a career that empowers you to grow. At Nestlé USA, we're all working towards the same goal
- to delight and deliver for our consumers. With a rich portfolio of beloved brands, including DiGiorno, Toll House, and Coffee mate, in 97% of U.S. households, we have a unique opportunity
- and responsibility
- to be there for every moment in our consumers' lives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the implementation of all Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) projects using standard project management routines and skills. DMO is a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that serves as a primary platform for operators to perform daily tasks across modules such as quality and downtime reporting.
- DMO integrates with other systems (e.g., PLCs, Wonderware, SAP, Power BI) to enable data visibility focused on factory performance, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Proactively and independently develop deep knowledge of DMO modules through available training resources and collaboration with DMO Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Build working knowledge of factory network and server configurations through collaboration with Factory Network, Engineering, and IT teams.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and IT teams to develop end‑to‑end understanding of process flows, FLOC structures, and information flow across factory systems.
- Validate digital tools and processes on the shop floor with operators and technicians across crews, capturing feedback, removing barriers to adoption, and ensuring tools are used as intended within standard operational routines.
- Own and execute daily, weekly, and monthly digital routines, including system health checks, operational escalations, operational review preparation, and follow‑up to ensure sustained adoption and business impact.
- Manage the site digital display strategy to enable clear problem identification, effective problem solving, and quick decision‑making at a glance, ensuring displays support standard review routines and drive timely action at all levels.
- Lead and collaborate with corporate product owners, corporate project managers, third‑party OEMs, and cross‑functional partners (Engineering, Operations, Quality, TAG) to successfully implement DMO modules in the factory. Act as a digital integration point to ensure alignment across tools, data, routines, and business priorities.
- Train and validate end‑user competency on DMO functionality by creating clear, simplified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned product areas. Provide coaching and guidance to operators, supervisors, and key users to support digital capability building, standard work execution, and data‑driven decision making.
- Develop and sustain super‑user capability to build technical depth and support an operator‑centric manufacturing environment. Enable Total Performance Management (TPM) and Key Standard Routine (KSR) execution through digital tools, including configuration, data visibility, and coaching support for step progression, loss analysis, and standard adherence.
- In collaboration with cross‑functional teams, lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize DMO modules through analysis and delivery of user‑friendly dashboards and data reports.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, including functionality gaps, troubleshooting needs, and process automation. Contribute to execution of the site digital roadmap, balancing new capability deployment with sustainment, technical debt, and operator‑centric improvements, including opportunities enabled through machine learning tools.
- Provide visibility and clarity on execution plans and resource requirements through effective documentation, issue logs, and project management tools.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues, defects, and enhancement needs within DMO, coordinating with cross‑functional partners to develop solutions, implement contingency measures, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
- Ensure sustainability of DMO through system maintenance, performance monitoring, and structured testing plans, including risk analysis associated with upgrades. Maintain clear documentation for configurations, testing, risks, and changes to support audit readiness, upgrades, and long‑term sustainability.
- Support the site AI agent strategy by contributing to rollout planning, competency validation, governance considerations, and integration of AI‑enabled tools into daily operational routines to drive sustained value.
