As one of the world's largest operating conservation foundations, the Arbor Day Foundation educates and engages stakeholders and communities across the globe to involve themselves in its mission of planting, nurturing, and celebrating trees. Our vision is to help others understand and use trees as a solution to many of the global issues we face today, including air quality, water quality, climate change, deforestation, poverty, and hunger. We need a Digital Marketing Specialist to support and elevate our digital presence while driving engagement, awareness, and conversion across Arbor Day Farm experiences.
You Have:
Passion. For environmental stewardship, hospitality, and creating engaging digital experiences that connect people to nature. Experience . You've supported or executed digital marketing campaigns across channels like email, paid media, social, and web. Technical Skills . Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads, Meta, CRM/email systems, analytics tools, and CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal). Content Expertise . Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and conversion-focused copy across digital channels. Organization. You can manage multiple campaigns, stay detail-oriented, and collaborate effectively across teams. Curiosity. You're eager to analyze performance data, identify trends, and continuously improve results.
You Will:
Execute campaigns. Plan, launch, and optimize multichannel digital campaigns across paid media, social, web, email, and listings. Create content. Develop compelling, on-brand copy and collaborate on visuals and video that drive engagement and conversions. Own social media. Lead organic strategy, content planning, scheduling, and community engagement while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Optimize web experiences. Manage website and landing page content, improving conversions through SEO, testing, and user journey best practices. Analyze performance. Track KPIs like engagement, CTR, conversions, and ROAS, using insights to refine and improve campaign impact. Support collaboration. Partner cross-functionally to align campaigns with seasonal priorities, events, and promotions.

Additional Details:
Location:
Hybrid role with two days per week in Nebraska City and one day per week in Lincoln.
Schedule:
Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays required to support events and social media coverage.
