Dining Manager Egypt Valley Country Club | Ada, MI (Grand Rapids Area) Join One of the Midwest's Premier Private Clubs Egypt Valley Country Club is a distinguished private club located just 10 miles from downtown Grand Rapids. Featuring 36 holes of championship golf designed by Arthur Hills, the Club has hosted prestigious events including the Senior PGA Farmers Charity Classic and the 2010 USGA Junior Amateur. We pride ourselves on delivering a hospitality experience that is both refined and welcoming. Our team is committed to exceptional service, and we are seeking a motivated Dining Room Manager to join our leadership team and help elevate the member experience. Club Operations Egypt Valley Country Club operates multiple dining outlets and maintains high-volume seasonal business. The Club hosts an active calendar of member events, including holiday dining, private functions, and banquets. This role plays a key part in delivering consistent, high-quality service across both a la carte and event-driven operations. Position Overview The Dining Room Manager leads all front-of-house dining operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests. This individual will be a hands-on leader who develops staff, maintains high service standards, and works collaboratively with culinary and leadership teams. What You'll Do Oversee all food and beverage daily operations with a focus on service excellence. Lead, train, and develop front-of-house team members. Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness. Engage with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and build relationships. Manage staff scheduling and labor efficiency. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution. Address and resolve member feedback professionally. Lead pre-service meetings and communicate daily priorities. Support initiatives to drive member satisfaction and dining revenue. Adhere to all handbook policies and hold team members accountable. Be responsible for the opening and closing of dining outlets. Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, bar products, and pricing. Stay current with food and beverage industry trends. Attend and participate in weekly management staff meetings, as well as other service meetings as deemed necessary. What We're Looking For Strong understanding of fine dining and high-touch service standards Passion for hospitality and delivering an exceptional member experience. Proven leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Detail-oriented with a hands-on, lead-by-example management style Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field 5+ years of foodbeverage experience (front-of-house) 2+ years in a supervisory or management role Private club or luxury hospitality experience strongly preferred. Work Schedule Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Average 40-50+ hours per week depending on season.
