Monday- Friday :

5:30am-9:00am , 2:30pm-7:30pm

Saturday:

7:30am-1:30pm, 1:30pm-7:30pm

Sunday:

7:30am-1:30pm , 1:30pm-7:30pm •This position will require you to travel to multiple locations within Vallejo; a reliable form transportation is preferred. About us : Milestones of Development Inc., a non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking dedicated and dependable direct care staff for weekday shifts, weekend shifts, weeknight graveyard shifts, or weekend graveyard shifts for its four intermediate care facilities located in Vallejo, California.

Compensation:

Weekdays:

$20.00 per hour (effective 2/1/2026)

Weekends:

Job Summary:

Summary of job responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, personal grooming, dressing, changing, and feeding. Work with clients on communication skills, recreational activities, community access, and living as independently as possible. Document and complete required daily reports. Learn and follow policies per licensing regulations. Attend mandatory in-service meetings.

Job Requirements:

Must be available to work at least one day during the weekend. Pass all required Pre-Employment Exams. (Drug test, Live Scan , TB test, and Physical Exam) Have a passion for working with people with developmental disabilities. Willing to go under Live scan background check , drug test, TB test, and physical exam. Attend mandatory monthly in-service training. Good driving record Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English and write and follow oral and written instructions and policies and procedures accurately.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent walking and standing, pushing/pulling/lifting, and bending/squatting. Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, twist, reach overhead, and possess manual dexterity. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Frequent walking and standing, pushing/pulling/lifting, and bending/squatting.
