POSITION PURPOSE
: Provide direct care and work with the treatment team to implement programs designed to meet the physical, developmental, and emotional needs of children in basic care, transitional youth, and teen parenting.EMPLOYMENT STATUS
: Non-Exempt, Must be available to work Friday to SundayRESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Awake Overnight childcare and supervision services for each assigned child. Review all pertinent information regarding the assigned cottage's residents and upcoming evening schedule at the beginning of the shift. Complete rounds to check on each child in care every 30 minutes and document on the cottage log sheet. Complete the checklist before you leave your shift.JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year experience with emotionally troubled children General Qualifications forAll Employees of The Children's Home of Lubbock:
Must be 21 years of age per licensing standards. Be able to read, write and communicate with co-workers, medical personnel and other persons necessary to care for the young adult's needs. Have a Valid Texas Driver's License. Exhibit behavior and health status that does not present a danger to young adult in care. Meet the requirements of licensing standards in regards to a criminal background check. Be physically, mentally and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks. Commit to the seven values ofSanctuary:

Complete a notarized Licensing Affidavit for Applicants for Employment Applicants must submit the last five years of employment history.
