Summary As a Direct Care Worker at Christian Home Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily living activities and enhancing their quality of life. This position is essential in fulfilling our mission of compassionate care and community impact. Responsibilities Assist consumers with daily living activities Personal Care (bathing, grooming, toileting) Light housekeeping Meal prep and clean up Medication reminders Transfers / Assistance walking Provide companionship and emotional support to consumers. Promote positive interactions with consumers within the community. Reporting changes in consumer conditions to appropriate staff. Must follow the plan of care to provide safe and competent care to the consumers. Requirements Previous experience in home care or direct care roles is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities. Willingness to learn and adapt to new caregiving techniques/updated training.
