Direct Care Worker

Join University Home Care Inc as a Direct Care Worker in Ottawa Lake, MI. In this role, you will provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily living activities and ensure their safety and comfort. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication reminders and support clients in following prescribed healthcare plans. Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the client's home. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Document care provided and adhere to confidentiality policies. Requirements Previous experience in care giving or direct care work preferred but not required. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must pass background checks.
