Direct Service Professional (DSP) / Personal Care Aide / Caregiver The Gentle Grove - Lake Stevens, WA Now Hiring for All Shifts The Gentle Grove is currently seeking reliable, accountable, and compassionate Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team supporting youth ages 8-18 with developmental disabilities and behavioral support needs. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents while building a long-term career in behavioral health and human services. We are seeking disciplined, teachable, and consistent candidates with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for the individuals we support. Position Responsibilities Support clients in daily living activities and routines Implement individualized support plans with consistency and fidelity Assist with emotional regulation, communication, and behavioral support strategies Support community integration, recreation, and skill development Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Complete documentation and communication logs accurately Work collaboratively with supervisors, clinicians, and team members Utilize professionalism, patience, and positive reinforcement strategies throughout the shift Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations Willingness to learn and accept feedback/coaching Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Experience in caregiving, security, education, behavioral health, customer service, or human services is preferred but not required Training Provided We provide in-house training and ongoing support, including: Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) Positive Behavior Support Reinforcement Systems Functional Communication Training (FCT) Tolerance Training Trauma-informed support strategies Opportunities for Growth The Gentle Grove and Behavioral Institute are committed to developing strong professionals within our organization.
