Direct Support Professional

Renoxx Caregivers, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide exceptional support to our clients. we are asking that you assist clients with daily living activities, including transferring them from wheelchairs to beds and other areas. This position requires the ability to lift and move patients safely and effectively. Work Schedule:

Mon - Friday 9am- 3pm, 3pm-7pm

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Transport and accompany clients to community activities and appointments. Work with clients either at Renoxx Caregiver's Center or through in-home services. Follow and implement goals outlined in the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) or Plan of Care. Build trusting relationships to ensure clients feel comfortable and supported. Deliver personalized care to enhance clients' independence, social skills, and quality of life. Adhere to safety protocols, medication administration procedures, and behavior support plans. Implement behavior management plans in alignment with Mandt principles to maintain a safe environment. Document client progress, incident reports, and daily logs with accuracy and timeliness. Complete all required documentation as part of the role.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Current CPR/First Aid certification. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Proof of work authorization. Strong communication skills and a caring, compassionate personality. Trustworthy and dependable, to ensure clients and families feel secure. Strong interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to the emotional needs of clients who are in distress. Energetic and fun-loving, with the ability to engage clients in enjoyable activities (e.g., board games, crafts, etc.). Familiarity and training in managing behaviors effectively.
