Our Direct Support Professionals are often the first point of contact for our consumers' day-to-day needs and the interaction between our consumers and our Direct Support Professionals is a key factor in their overall care. We are seeking responsible employees who are passionate about the opportunity to help mold and shape the lives of our consumers.

Responsibilities:

During day hours (8a-4p or 8:30a-4:30p), provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of ways, e.g. transporting to and from community center. Support individuals with developmental disabilities in accomplishing day-to-day community inclusion activities by transporting them to places of interest. Help individuals with developmental disabilities develop social interaction skills by modeling appropriate behaviors and interacting with other individuals. Provide direct supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities to ensure their safety. Perform daily documentation on consumers based on Individual Support Plan and established goals. Maintain a clean and healthy environment at Price Community Center. Conduct Pre-employment screening and state Division trainings, e.g. background checks, drug testing, CPR First Aide, Crisis training, etc. Maintain a professional and ethical mindset while delivering person center model services to adult consumers with developmental disabilities.

$19.00 - $19.50 per hour
