Direct Support Professional (DSP)

DSP's needed for evenings and overnights.

• Job Overview:

• We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need within the home and community care setting.

• Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments and outings
• Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Support individuals in social activities and community integration
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as nurses to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide hospice care and emotional support to individuals and their families

• Qualifications:

• Experience in direct support or related fields such as patient care, social work, or hospice care
• Ability to lift and transfer clients safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
