Job Description

The best candidate for the position of Direct Support Professional is someone who will be responsible for the compassionate care and assistance to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Whether you have prior experience working with developmentally disabled adults or children in a direct care role, or whether you are looking for a career in this field, we encourage you to apply for this position. Responsibilities:
Implement individual treatment plans for consumers Assist with daily living activities, including but not limited to preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene Develop a rapport with consumers and cultivate a safe and supportive environment Complete case notes and other documentation on a daily basis
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Indiana Drivers License Ability to pass a background check and driving record Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate about the care and well-being of others We provide care in several different counties and hire both full-time and part-time employee's. All needed training is provided.
