$16.00 per hour KenCrest is hiring Direct Support Professionals / Home Health Aides for multiple locations within Chester County (ex: Pottstown, Downingtown, Exton, West Chester, Coatesville, Spring City etc. NOT the Philadelphia metro area) We offer GREAT, competitive benefits! The Direct Support Professional role is for those who enjoy a challenge and the reward that comes with it. Being in this role requires both attention to detail and creativity because you are serving as both a life coach and a personal support agent. Common Daily Tasks:

Serve as both a caregiver and life coach to promote independence. Helping guide individuals with activities of daily living (some examples are personal care, meals, giving medication, social outings and shopping trips). Support the individual by helping with communication and self-expression. General housekeeping tasks and meal preparation. Be creative in helping the individual meet their own goals•look for fun activities or ways for them to participate in community activities. Complete required documents like incident reports, behavioral data, seizure charts, medical visit forms, etc. Required for Employment Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record Minimum two (2) year's driving experience Be able to clear criminal record, background checks and drug test in accordance with state requirements Ability to convey, understand and follow spoken and written instructions in English Strong Communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred One (1) year of experience in supporting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, preferred Additional Details
