Lansford, PA Duties Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient behavior, and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans and assist with feeding when necessary Provide medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Support clients during recreational activities, community outings, or social events to promote engagement and independence Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning client areas, laundry, and organizing supplies Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and working with individuals with autism or disabilities Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, families, and healthcare providers Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable populations Experience in caring for seniors or individuals requiring hospice or long-term care is advantageous Apply directly through Indeed or contact us: OctoberHomeCarepa@gmail.com 570-580-4747 Join our team as a Direct Support Professional and become a vital part of empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives!
