Job Description Responsible for the delivery and success of the overall, system-wide portfolio of behavioral and mental health initiatives. Provides direct operational, strategic and financial leadership as well as effective management and accountability for the daily implementation of Children's Behavioral and Mental Health multi-year plan across all campuses. Oversees and leads the implementation of the plan in collaboration with Vice President, Brain Health Center, system leaders and system medical directors. Works in partnership with others to ensure strategically focused, high-quality services are delivered to patients, families, and employees. Prepares for and participates in senior level discussions regarding strategic and operational direction for Behavioral and Mental Health services. Experience 8 - 10 years of experience managing projects in a complex environment or matrixed organization 5 years of proven experience leading a high performing team 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting Preferred Qualifications Experience as a clinician in behavioral and mental health (licensure type and practice setting agnostic) Experience in managing and leading business operations in a behavioral or mental health care delivery setting Master's degree in related field Project Management Professional (PMP) Education Bachelor's degree in related field Certification Summary No professional certifications required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to think strategically and act tactically, transitioning business needs into actionable items Advanced oral and written communication skills with attention to detail, presentation skills and a strong executive presence Works well both with and through others Engages multiple levels of experts and leaders Comfortable with ambiguity Skilled in change management Driven to execute, but sensitive to politics and interpersonal dynamics Demonstrates analytical reasoning skills Demonstrates sound financial acumen Willing and able to quickly learn new systems Track record implementation and doing whatever it takes to deliver results Demonstrates learning agility and flexibility Demonstrates high processing skills Job Responsibilities Oversees and leads the implementation of Children's Behavioral and Mental Health multi-year plan in collaboration with accountable leaders. Keeps senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations. Tracks and monitors performance against the plan (quality, patient experience, financial and operational). Supervises a team to provide feedback and resolve complex problems. Serves as a member of the Behavioral and Mental Health governance structure to ensure clear accountability, issue management, and communication among program stakeholders. Works through others and delivers specific components of the plan. Achieves the goals and outcomes identified in the plan. Provides updates on both operational and financial performance against the plan. Produces routine updates and materials for Boards and Donors.
