How you'll contribute A Finance Director who excels in this role: Oversees all financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, including budget planning, financial reporting, audit management, and initiatives that drive departmental efficiency and support organizational goals. Oversees all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting. Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with legal, ethical, clinical, and administrative requirements. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care support services, IT systems, service levels, and complaint resolution. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets to ensure compliance with financial objectives. Coordinates and leads internal and external audits. Creates and fosters a professional environment that supports employee engagement, growth, and development. Performs other duties as assigned. What we're looking for
Education :
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
Skills :
Requires strong leadership in healthcare financial management, staffing, and compliance. Must be able to influence, negotiate, and communicate across departments and leadership levels.
Business Mathematics :
Proficient in calculations involving fractions, percentages, rates, and interpreting graphs.
Computer Skills :
Moderate proficiency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and business software.
Communication :
Capable of handling complex communication and interacting with senior leadership.
Problem Solving :
Able to assess and solve varied and complex business challenges using precedent and judgment.
