This position is accountable for providing administrative and operational leadership to the inpatient and outpatient for the following clinical services: Interventional Suites (Cardiology, EP & IR), Interventional Recovery Unit, Cardio/Neuro Diagnostics, Cardiac Rehab and Wound Clinic. Leadership responsibilities include clinical operations, patient satisfaction, associate satisfaction, personnel management, staffing with a focus on cost effectiveness and the provision of the highest quality patient care, new program development and physician satisfaction. Leads and facilitates performance improvement programs for cardiovascular services. Responsible for recruitment and professional development of management team. Collaborates with leadership team to incorporate One Riverside Approach for strategic initiatives and quality improvement across the organization. Essential Duties Manages and provides leadership in financial matters regarding budgeting, cost control and revenue generation. Serves as a key liaison to physicians, addressing concerns, fostering alignment, and developing strategies to enhance quality, operational efficiency, and process improvement Provides leadership and direction for improving patient/customer satisfaction and ensuring quality patient care. Responsible for the development and growth of outreach services in cardiac services. Works closely with the marketing department and other departments to showcase patients' stories, new technologies, etc. Monitors department productivity levels and work functions to provide efficient operations, proper staffing levels and resource utilizations. Provides leadership and manages day-to-day operations of the Interventional Suites (Cardiology, EP & IR), Interventional Recovery Unit, Cardio/Neuro Diagnostics, Cardiac Rehab and Wound Clinic Continuously assesses and improves department's performance. Ensures competency and staff development within the department. Monitors and facilitates the resolution of performance and other employee relations issues. Evaluates and holds downline of leaders accountable for employee performance in their areas. Encourage the recognition of high performers, address low performers, and improve overall employee performance. Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams while setting clear expectations. Promote a culture of safety, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement; lead change management with transparent communication. Reviews and maintains a variety of statistical and performance reports which reflect department activities. Development and implementation of policies, procedures and standards which follow quality management, IDPH, CDC, OSHA, FDA, DNV and other relevant regulating agencies. Conducts competitor analysis to determine program growth and market share and keeps abreast of any trends or changes. Responsibilities Required Experience 3+ years of progressive leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on cardiovascular care and/or interventional radiology. Experience in budget management, staffing, and resource allocation within a clinical environment. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting. Required Licensure/Education Current Illinois RN license MBA/MHA or comparable master's degree or be actively enrolled in a master's program.
