Director of Administration Vantage Health System, Inc. - 2.9 Dumont, NJ Job Details Full-time $85,000 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Operations management Master's degree Bachelor's degree Organizational skills Business Administration Full Job Description Director of Planning and Administration The Director of Planning and Administration is responsible for overseeing the organization's administrative operations, regulatory readiness, and strategic support functions. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and other members of the leadership team, this role ensures that administrative systems, compliance efforts, and operational processes effectively support the organization's mission, strategic goals, and day-to-day operational needs. Key Responsibilities Supervise and provide leadership to administrative staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development. Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and implement process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate organizational accreditation, licensing, and regulatory survey readiness activities. Facilitate performance improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes across administrative departments. Oversee compliance monitoring and collaborate with Program Directors to ensure alignment with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Support grant administration and reporting requirements and assist with grant writing efforts as needed. Assist with the review, coordination, and administration of organizational contracts and related documentation. Plan and coordinate agency events, including community outreach initiatives and health fairs. Partner with facilities management and safety teams to support emergency preparedness, risk management, and environmental compliance. Serve as a liaison across departments to ensure administrative and operational needs are identified and addressed. Assess and communicate staffing, operational, and administrative support needs to executive leadership. Participate in strategic planning and organizational development initiatives. Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting materials for senior leadership and Board meetings as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in administrative operations, compliance, planning, or organizational management. Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or other mission-driven organization strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience supervising administrative staff and managing cross-functional projects. Knowledge of accreditation, licensing, and regulatory requirements. Experience with grant administration, contract coordination, and event planning preferred. Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business systems.
